It is with excitement and incredible joy that First Lady Nerita and I welcome you to the website of the Victory Baptist Church! In every way, our hope and prayer is that you will always be open to allowing the Spirit of God to speak to your heart and that the warmth, welcome and atmosphere of love and care that you encounter at Victory will restore, refresh and renew your spirit as we seek to glorify God “in spirit and in truth.”

Now just for a moment, I'd like to thank you for your partnering financially to the Victory ministry and would like to welcome those who are considering to do so. In your consideration, think of this:

"We love, because God first loved us" this is a well known verse from one of St John's letters. It states a basic principle of spiritual life. It is equally true to say "we give because He first gave to us". One of the problems with an affluent and materialistic society is that we begin to take for granted that which we have received through the generosity of God. I believe this is why the custom of pausing to give thanks for food before eating has become the exception rather than the rule.
